Shane Wakerling is the Vice President and General Manager at General Roofing Company. He graduated from California Polytechnic State San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s Degree in business. After graduation he returned to the Bay Area to join the family business with aspirations of making General Roofing a fourth-generation roofing company. Since then he has worked towards continuing the company’s reputation of a leader in the roofing industry by being mentored by his father Mike, as well as bringing his own expertise in business management. Currently, he is a part of the Young Roofing Professionals Committee for the Western Roofing Contractors Association. He also serves on a local Board of Directors as President for the Boys and Girls Club, and the Central Pacific Regional Director for Alpha Kappa Psi a business fraternity. When Shane has free time he usually is off with his wife on some adventure pursing their love of travel.
